Helga one is a snippet from Helga’s diary. It’s in a different format, and we will see several pages of her diary woven into this story. Helga is being traded in for Donald J.’s wife. A deal that gives Donald J. a very experienced maso slave, and makes Helga’s Husband (Martin) rich. All these diary snippets are written in second person to create distance (from her feelings) and from the reader as well.
